Por la reciente y creciente euforia que se ha dado por Del Toro, Cuarón e Iñárritu...hasta Reygadas y Miller en Cannes...pasando por la unión del CCC y el CUEC para presentar trabajos en conjunto, me hace reflexionar, bueno. . . es una reflexión vieja...muy vieja, en esto: "El cine se está convirtiendo cada vez más en un sector de pocos (CCC y CUEC) ó Al cine lo están convirtiendo en un sector de pocos (CCC y CUEC)"
Y es que este año no se ha parado de hablar que si este director estudió acá, que si este otro director estudió allá olvidándose que existen otros centros de estudio que albergan a estudiantes igualmente creativos que las dos más viejas y conocidas de México.
Estas otras escuelas existen por la razón que me parece la más importante:
"Los criterios de selección de ambas escuelas son inverosímiles y absurdas"
Por experiencia propia en el CUEC y por experiencia de amigos en el CCC es que puedo quejarme.
ES DECIR,
1.- ¿por qué al año se reciben sólo 15 alumnos (de los cuales 10 aproximadamente son de ori¿gen extranjero o con apellidos largos y con muchas consonates)?
2.- ¿por qué los "aspirantes" no pueden "pasar" por las 4 etapas?
EN DONDE
"III. La 1ra. y 2da. etapas, evalúan aptitudes específicas como memoria visual, memoria auditiva y capacidad de estructuración visual"
IV. La 3ra etapa está dirigida a evaluar la cultura cinematográfica, la cultura general y su correspondiente expresión por escrito
V La 4ta. y última etapa cosiste en una entrevista personal del aspirante con la comisión de Admisión
V. CRITERIO DE EVALAUCIÓN
a) Cada una de las etapas tiene asignado un valor numérico, cuya suma total es de 100 puntos, dividios de la sig manera:
1.- Historia basada en la fotografía 20 pts
2.- Montaje Visual (dibujos) 20 pts
3.- Fragmento de la película 30 pts
4.- Cuestionario de cultura 30pts"

Puede que el aspirante no desarrolle aptitudes en las primeras dos etapas y por ello no pase a la tercera, en donde el aspirante puede dar un mejor desempeño....¿Qué el aspirante debe nacer director o fotógrafo? ¿Qué no está una escuela para enseñar y no para rechazar?

Si el aspirante desarrolla aptitudes en las dos primeras etapas y por ello pasa a la tercera etapa demostrando que no sabe un pepino...¿El aspirante será entonces un director o fotógrafo, etc, inculto, es decir, sin conocimiento sobre cine? ¿Qué no está una escuela para enseñar y no para rechazar?

El cine en México no debe la exclusividad de unos pocos con recursos económicos o miembros de las dos escuelas más viejas y conocidas del país
